November 30, 2017

Dear Parents of Students in Religious Education,

Greetings to you as we approach December! As the advent season begins, may this special time be filled with many blessings for you and your families.

Last month was full of activity for the Religious Education program.

Students continued to deepen their connection to the faith throughout the month. I have enjoyed seeing students create their own personal bond through their studies.

Thank you to all families who celebrated the Children’s Mass with us in November. It was great to see so many families in attendance!

An information session for parent of students receiving First Holy Communion was held on November 19th. Please feel free to contact the Religious Education office if you have any questions or concerns.

For December, please take note of the following.

There is class on December 3rd, 10th, and 17th.

This Sunday, December 3rd is the Children’s Mass at 11 a.m. Please try to attend this Mass with your families as this is the first Mass of the Advent season. Thank you to our 5th grade student volunteers serving roles at this Mass.

Throughout December, eligible students in grades 3-8 will be receiving the sacrament of Reconciliation. Thank you to Rev. Moon and fellow clergy for making this possible.

Sunday, December 17th is the final day of classes before Christmas break. The Religious Education office will be helping coordinate the annual party this day. Thank you to all parents volunteering to bring in Christmas treats for students.

On Sunday, December 24th there is the annual Christmas Pageant. Attached, please find the signup form for any interested children wanting to participate.

Classes will resume Sunday, January 7, 2018 following Christmas break.

Thank you for your continued support of the Religious Education program.

Sincerely,

Mr. Christopher Siegfried

Coordinator
