Online Appendix

This supplement contains additional documentation and replication data for the article ‘Parliamentary Peace or Partisan Politics? Democracies’ Participation in the Iraq War’, by Patrick A. Mello. Table A.1 provides a list of governments by executive leader, affiliated party or coalition of parties, and government type. Table A.2 provides the raw data to replicate the fsQCA procedure. The calibrated fuzzy values are based on substantive CMP values, which were calculated according to the approach suggested by Laver and Garry (2000), drawing on the original CMP values for each respective party. Table A.3 illustrates the calculation procedure using the example of Ireland. Table A.4 provides a comprehensive list of sources for the coding of the outcome military participation by country. References are listed in the final section.
