Responsibility

Coordinating start up and safe shutdown of the plant in planned and emergency situations. Trouble Shooting of Equipments.

Monitor control panels or onsite instruments in accordance with standard plant operating procedures and instructions, thus ensuring a continuous check on the efficient running of the plant and equipment.

Operates equipment and facilities in accordance with instruction from the supervisor, takes immediate action in case of any abnormal function, disturbance or alarm by adjusting process parameters in accordance with sops and report the abnormalities from time to time.

Go through log book for previous data, remarks etc and maintain it .As well, logs operating incidents occurring during shift for records and for counterpart on the next shift, and discuss incidents with supervisor.

Shut down the plant partially or totally incase of emergency and starts it up again in accordance with insurance from higher authority. As well perform normal and planned shutdown for maintenance.

Maintaining highest level of safety for personnel, equipment and installations.

Ensure dosing of chemicals on time, collect and record the details of consumption and stock.

Maintaining safety in all aspects of plant operation and maintenance jobs and create a culture of safe practices across all functional groups.

Familiar with work permit system. Gas testing, mechanical & isolation procedures and co-ordination with maintenance crew, trouble shooting, reporting etc

Experience in operation of centrifugal pumps, reciprocating dosing pumps with variable speed and stroke, screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, centrifugal compressors, centrifugal pumps and rotary valves.

Handled shell and tube type heat exchangers, double pipe exchangers, electrical heater, condenser, Reboiler etc.

Various flow measuring, level measuring temperature measuring, pressure measuring, weight measuring instruments.

Duties include the Control Room Operations by DISTRIBUTED CONTROL SYSTEM, SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Operation. Handling Three Phase Separators, oil reading, HP, and MP & LP Separators. Handling, degassing vessels & skim tank handling, well fluid oil, gas and water Level, Pressure maintenance in Control Panel operation LCV, PCV operation & controller operation. Oil sample taking BSW checking, Low pressure Separator, Degassing boot, Settling tank, Stripper, Storage Tank etc.

Central Production Facility and Tank Farm:

Receiving crude from different gathering station Slug catcher,De-gas boot, Settling tank, dehydration tank. Produced water tank skimmer tank, storage tank, and emulsion treatment by electrostatic heater treatedDemulsifier injection pumps, injection rate calculation, Crude transfer pumps, and LACT(Least Automotive Custody Transfer) unit.

Crude Oil Pumping Station:

Familiar in oil & gas processing system main tank, intermediate tank operation, change over, M.O.V. Operation, water disposal, Tank Evacuation, positive isolation, Bottom Oil Transport, Bottom oil receiving tank Pump, Booster Pump, Main oil pump operation,Metering Oil & pumping system of shipping products (Tanker Loading), lube oil pressure maintenance etc.

Gas Dehydration Unit:

Natural Gas Dehydration (8 trays), Coalecer filter, Glycol Contactor, Glycol flash drum, Cartridge type filter operation, Lean/ Rich Glycol Contactor, Glycol flash drum, Charcoal, Cartridge type filter operation, Lean/ Rich Glycol Heat Exchanger, Glycol /Gas Heat

Exchanger, All filter changing, Glycol Regeneration, Still Column, Glycol pumping, Tank Level, Dew point maintaining (khan Sensor). Taking of plant shutdown and start –up operation. Pre& Super Heater’s for fuel gas. Heating& Heat Exchangers. Fuel gas, stripping gas, pilot gas & Blanket gas Supply.

Gas Sweetening Unit:

Methyl Di-ethanol Amine (MDEA) is used to absorb the H2S from the sour gas. It consists of two sections, Absorption section is Amine Contactor and Amine regeneration section. Operation and control of the Absorber, Knock Out Drum, Heat Exchangers and maintain the MDEA temp.Control the level of rich amine flash drum, Rich/Lean Amine exchanger, Regenerator, Control the lean amine flash drum, operation of vapour compressors and Reflux pumps.

Gas Compressor Unit:

Handled different types of Gas Compressor (Reciprocation , Centrifugal Gas Compressor Start up & Shut down , Cylindrical lube oil Maintenance , Compressor unit pre lube oil level, engine crankcase oil level maintenance ,Coolant water level RPM setting, inter collar operation, Temperature maintenance, Scrubber pump operationFuel gas Filter separator operation.

Water Injection:

Lube oil pump. Booster pump, Main pump & Inhibitor pump operation. Lube oil pressure Maintain cooling water pump operation. Lube oil level maintain.
