Mental Health Case Manager(14 hours)
Salary Band £19,128 - £20,857 pro rata
We are a well established voluntary sector organisation with headquarters in Shipley. We are establishing a new service in Skipton to better meet the needs of the residents of Craven, Airedale and Wharfedale. We are committed to developing service provision in this area and this is an opportunity to be involved from the beginning.
We are engaged in helping people who have experienced moderate to severe mental health problems to rebuild their lives and return to education, volunteering or paid work. This includes all manner of mental health issues from depression to schizophrenia.
We need a case managerfor 2 days a week (14 hours) to work with clients on a one to one basis committing them to specific programmes including groups and skillshop activities.
We need people who have an innate belief in the ability of others and who can inspire hope in those who have none. You should have substantive experience of helping individuals to change as well as an understanding of the impact of enduring mental health problems on people’s lives. Any employment experience would be an advantage.
