DESIGN

Deliverables:

1.Design documents that demonstrate criteria in FloridaNRCS practice standard have beenmetandarecompatible with planned and applied practices

a.Practice purpose(s) asidentified in the conservationplan.

b.Listof required permits tobe obtained bytheclient

c.CompliancewithNRCS national and state utility safety policy (NEM part 503-Safety, Section 503.00through 503.22)

d.List all required and/orfacilitating practices

e.Practice standardcriteria-related computationsand analyses to develop plans and specificationsincluding butnot limited to:

i.Firebreak width andlength

ii.Vegetative species selection

iii.Erosion calculations

iv.Erosion controlmeasures

2.Written plansand specifications includingsketches anddrawingsshall be provided to the client that adequatelydescribes therequirements toinstallthe practice andobtain necessary permits.

3.Operation and maintenance plan

4.Certification that the design meets practice standardcriteria and complywith applicable lawsand regulations

5.Design modifications during installation as required

INSTALLATION

1.Pre-installation conferencewith client

2.Verification that client has obtained required permits

3.Staking and layout according to plans and specifications includingapplicable layout notes

4.Installation guidance asneeded

5.Facilitate andimplement required designmodifications with client and original designer

6.Advise client/NRCS on compliance issues with all federal, state,tribal, and locallaws, regulations and NRCSpolicies during application

7.Certification that the installation process and materials meets design and permitrequirements
