Work Pattern: / The post holder will have a flexible approach to managing their workload; they will be present at home matches, work weekends as well as keeping office hours. / Date JD Completed: / March 2015
Job Purpose:To provide support to the Commercial Manager and Managing Director of Edinburgh Rugby, assisting with all aspects of the club marketing and match day activities.

To co-ordinate the various traditional marketing as well as emerging digital channels. As well as fundraising, sponsorship, commercial and operational initiatives, which includes planning with the SRU stakeholders. / Planning and Organising
To help develop the brand, marketing and sales strategies, for ticket, merchandise, hospitality and other revenue generating activities through both traditional and digital channels. / Personal Accountability
Team Working
To help ensure that Edinburgh Rugby can operationally meet its financial projections and deliver an enhanced and positive customer experience. / Personal Accountability
Facilitating Change
To help design, implement and facilitate annual marketing plans for the relevant initiatives. / Planning and Organising
To help organise and implement client relation strategies including:
- Client satisfaction surveys

To help develop and administer the marketing database, which includes client and prospect information, mailing list applications, access to financial reports, etc. / Planning and Organising

Qualifications and Attainments: /
- Marketing qualification (degree level or equivalent and or, significant experience)
- Good, working knowledge of MS Office packages
- CIM
Knowledge and Experience: /
- Working in a commercial and/or marketing environment
- Experience of Stakeholder Management at all levels
- Ability to build effective working relationships
- Excellent organisational skills
- First classwritten and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Scottish professional rugby
- Experience of sourcing and securing funding
- Sport or sports club marketing experience
