Liquid Controls Releases FlightConnect-capable TE550 Electronic Register for Global Markets.
LAKE BLUFF, IL, USA – October 6, 2015– Liquid Controls (LC) unveiled their new TE550 electronic meter register with FlightConnect capability this week at the inter airport Europe 2015 expo in Munich, Germany. The feature-rich electronic register is designed to simplify the aviation fueling process, and now with FlightConnect, the system also provides wireless delivery of up to 22 points of fueling data to the back office.
“Since FlightConnect launched in North America, our engineering team has been working diligently to fulfill customer needs for a simple wireless fueling platform approved for (use in) Europe, Asia, and Africa,” said Frank Montalvo, LC’s Aviation Business Line Vice President. “The TE550 answers that call with FlightConnect capability, Zone 1 compliance, and incredible ease of use for global markets,” added Montalvo.
FlightConnect TE550 is the integration of two products, FlightConnect, the company’s wireless dispatching and fueling data management system and TE550— an ATEX Zone 1 and MID certified electronic register. With this integration, the TE550 joins the LectroCount LCR 600 in Liquid Controls line of electronic registers that can package both metrological and transactional data for wireless reporting.
The combination of operational simplicity and reporting accuracy has put FlightConnect in a class of its own. “It truly couldn’t be any simpler,” says Joe Freeman, Facilities and Maintenance Manager of Million Air at Addison Airfield in Addison, Texas. “They (operators) simply walk up to the truck, enter a tail number and hit start,” Freeman added.
TE550 with FlightConnect is scheduled to be released globally in early 2016.
