HORSES
RING 1 –Working Hunters– Entry fee £10 Class 1-Start time 9am prompt, classes 2 & 3 will follow
Class 1 –Nursery Working Hunter –65cm -for horses exceeding 15hh, Horse and Rider combination never to have won a Working Hunter Class at this height or above more than twice before.
Class 2 - Novice Working Hunter – 80cm - For horses exceeding 15hh, Horse and rider combination never to have won a working Hunter class at this height or above more than twice before.
Class 3 - Open Working Hunter – 95cm – For horses exceeding 15hh.
WORKING HUNTER CHAMPIONSHIP
RING 2 –Ridden Classes – Entry fee £8 – class 4 start time 9am prompt classes 5, 6, 7 will follow.
Class 4 –Ridden Hunter. 14.2hh & over
Class 5 - Veteran Horse (Horses must be 15 years or over) 14.2hh & over
Class 6 -Ridden Cob. 14.2hh and over.
Class 7 – Ridden Horse. 14.2hh & Over. Prize for the best RoR
RIDDEN CHAMPIONSHIP
Class 8 - ROR 3-phase Challenge, Qualifier for FLOORS CASTLE RoR 3 phase Challenge Championship 2017. Starting at 9.30am approx
For Thoroughbred mare or gelding, 4 years old or over, any height. Riders must be 15 years or over. Horses should be plaited. All entries MUST be registered with Weatherbys in the General Stud Book and MUST also be registered with ROR. The class is open to Thoroughbreds that HAVE raced. The class will be run under the rules of BE Novice Eventing Rules see Chapter 7 in the BE Rule book. Horses will NOT be ridden by the judge. Front boots and martingale are optional for sections I and II however, NO hind boots or bandages of any kind may be worn in section III. Jumping whip only allowed (max length 75cm). Dress as for British Eventing Novice Dressage Test/Hunting Dress.
The first three qualify, but if the first horse has already qualified it goes down to fourth place.

PHASE I: Dressage Test (60m x 20m Arena) (20 points)
Marks will not be awarded for individual movements but the test will be marked for
general impression and overall performance.

PHASE II: Jumping (40 points) & Style & Presence Whilst Jumping (20 points)
A course of 8 to 10 coloured jumps, including a double. NO time will be allowed between these sections for any adjustment to tack or rider’s dress. Maximum height of fences 0.90m. Scoring as follows: Knockdown = 5 points, 1st refusal = 10 points, 2nd refusal = 10 points, 3rd refusal = E, faults are cumulative. Fall of horse and/or rider will result in elimination.
PHASE III: Conformation (20 points)
Each horse to be presented, “stripped” in front of the judge. NO boots are to be worn for this phase.
Total for all 3 phases = 100 points
Note: following Section III, the ten horses with the highest marks will be required in the main ring for mounted prize giving. In the event of equality of marks, the horse with the higher jumping mark will be given precedence.
British Eventing / BHS approved hat and harness to be worn in all 3 sections.
The championship will be held in May 2017 at the Floors Castle Horse Trials
Entry fee: £18, Times will be posted on the ISEC website by 8pm on Thurs 7th July.

PONIES
RING 1–Working Hunters Pony– Entry fee £8 Start time approx. 1pm. (not before)
Class 9–Tiny Tots Working Hunter Pony – Cross Poles 45cm max – On or Off the Lead Rein. Riders must be under 12 years.
Class 10– Novice Working Hunter pony 15hh & under – fences approx. 60cm (Combination never to have won more than two working hunter pony classes at this height or above before) Riders must be 18 years & under.
Class 11 – Open Working Hunter Pony 15hh & under– fences approx. 80cm
WORKING HUNTER PONY CHAMPIONSHIP
Ring 2 - Ridden Ponies– Classes £6 Start time 1pm approx. (not before)
Class 11A - Best All-rounder –Max height 14.2hh. Riders must be 18 years & under. This will be judged on a short show, Jumping 3 fences of different types (approx. 65cm) and bending through some poles.
Class 12 -Ridden Mountain & Moorland – please state small or large breed when entering as this class may split.
Class 13 - Ridden Pony – 14.2hh and Under

Class 16 – Novice 65cm – Horse / Pony rider combination not to have won more than twice at this height or above. 1st = £10, 2nd £5(6 + entries), 3rd £5 (10 + entries). Entry Fee: £8
Class 17 – 75cm – Horse / Pony rider combination not to have won more than twice at this height or above. 1st = £10, 2nd £5(6 + entries), 3rd £5 (10 + entries). Entry Fee: £8
Class 18 – 85cm – Open 1st = £10, 2nd £5(6 + entries), 3rd £5 (10 + entries). Entry Fee: £8
Rules
- A horse/pony may not be shared in anyclass
- Rosettes will be awarded 1st to 6th in every class
- An Up to date riding hat must be worn at all times when mounted.
- Dogs must be kept in vehicles at all times
- Horses must not be left tied to trailers / Lorries unattended at ANYTIME.
- Competitors must park as instructed.
- All Ridden ponies and horses must be 4 years or over. Riders must be 3 years or over.
- Objections must be lodged in writing with the secretary, accompanied by a deposit of £5.
- By entering a class at this show you agreeing to abide by the rules.
