Job Purpose:
ACTION AGAINST HUNGER | ACF INTERNATIONAL seeks a Senior Digital Marketing Officer to manage the organisation’s digital marketing activities. The postholder will develop and implement the organisation’s email marketing strategy, and manage online marketing and fundraising activity.
The Senior Digital Marketing Officer coordinates with external suppliers to produce and publish digital content, develop e-mail marketing campaigns, maintain online fundraising channels and plan longer-term strategies to develop Action Against Hunger’s online presence.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Be responsible for achieving the financial and quantitative objectives of our digital marketing activities
2. Develop and implement the email marketing strategy and action plan to enhance supporter engagement and on-line donations, expand the organisation’s community of on-line supporters, optimise the online experience for all online constituents and increase ACF’s brand visibility
3. Be responsible for search engine maximisation and support the development and implementation of a strategy aimed at increasing website performance, engagement and donor conversion
4. Manage online giving and email platforms and CMS systems
5. Manage relationships agencies, suppliers and volunteers
6. Manage the pre-approved digital marketing budget
7. Manage technical aspects of all online communication tools and provide staff training
8. Conceive, implement and manage search marketing and digital advertising activity
9. Produce analytical reports and statistics for all online activities and improve performance and functionality
10. Maximise fundraising through the integration of online and digital activities to specific campaigns, events and appeals
11. Manage the launch and implementation of new digital fundraising initiatives, collaborating with counterparts in other ACF headquarters whilst maximising impact and performance
General
· Undertake any relevant work delegated by the Communications Manager
· Ensure that the position and volunteers being supervised safeguard sensitive customer information at all times, so that customers perceive ACF-UK to be a trustworthy organisation
· Apply best practices in terms of fundraising, data protection and online communication
· Be willing to work outside the office and to work out of office hours occasionally
· Provide support to other members of the Action Against Hunger team
Dimensions:
· Responsible for creating, managing and monitoring budgets approved by Communication Manager Responsible for managing relationships with specific agencies and external providers
· Responsible for the recruitment and supervision of volunteers (max 1-2 per month)
Decisions and judgement:
· The postholder with be responsible for setting, implementing and monitoring digital marketing budgets, action plans and strategies pre-approved by the Communication Manager
· The postholder will have access to guidance and advice from the Communication Manager
Person Specification:
Qualifications/education required
· Degree-qualified, preferably with a marketing or communication concentration and equivalent experience in digital marketing, strategy; SEO and content management experience
Experience required:
Essential:
1. Demonstrated success in drafting and delivering digital marketing and campaign website strategies
2. Good understanding of SEO and PPC
3. Experience in creating and implementing email marketing campaigns to increase website traffic and engagement, and increase fundraising
4. Proficiency of working with CRM tools
5. Proficient in HTML for email
6. Experience of developing, maintaining and managing CMS-based websites
7. Demonstrated experience in writing for the web, email marketing and supporter engagement purposes, and relevant skills to represent Action Against Hunger with clarity and confidence to people at all levels
8. Experience in analysing and monitoring digital marketing activity
9. Knowledge of image manipulation software, specifically Photoshop, for optimising graphics for the web
10. Experience in search engine optimisation
11. Experience of project managing online campaigns
Desirable:
