The Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Pune invites Sealed Tender in a 2 – Bid
system from reputed Firms / Companies for purchase of 4 number of NEW DESKTOP
PERSONAL COMPUTERS, 1 ALL-In-ONE NEW DESKTOP
PERSONAL COMPUTER and 1 Laptop OF A REPUTED BRANDED COMPANY in Office of the Joint DGFT, Pune. The Minimum specifications of the computers is given in Annexure-I attached with this tender notice.
The Bid is to be submitted in 2 separate envelopes, one marked ‘Technical Bid’ and the other marked ‘Financial Bid’ (Please refer Annexure III & IV). The bids (duly signed) in sealed cover subscribed “Bids for purchase of NEW DESKTOP PERSONAL COMPUTERS AND LAPTOP” should be addressed to The Joint Director General of Foreign TradeC-Block, PMT Commercial Complex, Shankarsheth road, Swargate, Pune 411037. The Bids should be accompanied with a DD of Rs.5000/- drawn in favour of The Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Pune towards EMD (Refundable) without which the Bid will not be considered. The NSIC/SSI registered bidders are exempted from submission of EMD.
The last date of receipt of the bids in this office is 12.06.2014(3.00PM).
The Technical bids will be opened on 12.03.2014 at 3.30 PM. in the chamber of Joint DGFT.The Tenderers who wish to be present, may so at the above venue. The financial bid will be opened on 13.03.2014 at 11 AM in the same venue. Financial bid of only those bidders would be opened who qualify technically. Those desirous to be present at the time of opening of tenders should carry proper authority letter.
Scope of Work
The specification of the computers is given in Annexure-I attached with this tender notice.
Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions for annual maintenance tender for all are given at Annexure V
Submissions
The bidder should submit Application form duly filled and signed in the format given in Annexure-II.
The technical bid should be submitted in the format prescribed in the Annexure-III and the commercial bid should be submitted as per the format prescribed in Annexure-IV.
Submission of Bids by itself does not confer any right or entitlement to the bidder do the
job. Unsealed Bids will be rejected outrightly. The competent authority reserves the right to accept “the tender either in full or part”. It Further reserves right to cancel tender at any time without assigning any reasons whatsover.Terms and Conditions on which the work will be awarded to the successful tenderer are appended below.

Annexure-V
TERMS & CONDITIONS
(1) The supplier must ensure supply of NEW DESKTOP PERSONAL COMPUTERS, ALL-IN-ONE DESKTOP PERSONAL COMPUTER, LAPTOP of a reputed branded company within 5 days from the placement of order and also arrange a technical personnel in case any problem in functioning of Computers.
(2) Those who are interested may submit the quotation in closed/sealed envelope to this Office.
(3) All the computers supplied should be in good working condition and of branded company and accompany a delivery challan which will be required to be given separately at the time of
supply and Bills for payment.
(4) Bills for supply of new computers to be raised only after delivery of all the material.
(5) Payment against Bill/Invoice shall be released only after receipt of supplies and verification
of material by this office.
(6) Bids must be accompanied with a self certified photocopy of PAN of Income Tax,Service
Tax Registration Certificate and Authorisation certificate towards supply of new computers.
(7) Tenders for items of lower configuration than are specified above will be summarily rejected.
Erasing and overwriting in the rates quoted will make the tender void. All alterations in the
rates should be signed in ink otherwise the tender will be not considered.
(8) The lowest quoted bidder(L-1) shall be chosen on the basis of total bid price received.
(9) Minimum three years warranty for the new computers is mandatory. During the warranty
period, the supplier should replace the material free of cost in case of any defect in any of the
computers.
(10) The Operating system so stated in the specifications must be installed before the Personal
Computers are handed over and the CD of the OS and the supporting drivers be provided
along with each computer.
(11) The competent authority reserves the right to accept “the tender either in full or part”. It
Further reserves right to cancel tender at any time without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
(12) The exact number of Personal computers to be supplied under this tender may increase or
decrease and will be decided at the time of signing the contract.
