June 14-15, 2017Advanced Driver Education event at Watkins Glen.
Tech Inspection: Have your car teched prior to arrival at the track, no tech form = no driving (this includes instructors). Hand in your 2017NRPCA Tech Form when you sign-in at the track. Please note that only NRPCA Tech forms are acceptable.
Final Tech: If you are not an instructor, you must get your car “final-teched” at the Track (Garage Bay 1) Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning. Sign-in, remove all loose items from your car, bring your helmet and driver’s license, then apply your car numbers and run group decal BEFORE going through final tech.
Registration: Sign-in, remove all loose items from your car, bring your helmet, a valid driver’s license, apply your car numbers (both sides and the back) and run group decal.
Forms: The Tech Form, Final Tech Guidelines, Flag Chart, Rules & Regs, Garage Assignments, and On-Track Schedule can all be found on the bottom of this page: Please print them and take them to the track. They will NOT be available at the track.

Tuesday, June 13th:
6:00 – 9:00 pmEarly Entry at the track. Driver/crew may enter, unload, set up.
6:30 – 8:00 pmEarly Sign-In and Registration at the Track. Please take advantage of this early sign-in opportunity and avoid the Wednesday morning rush.FINAL TECH
Wednesday, June 14th:

6:30 – 7:30 amSign-in at the track. FINAL TECH
7:30 – 8:00 amMANDATORY Drivers’ Meeting in the Garage
8:00 – 8:15 amFirst Time Participants meeting in the Garage Classroom
8:00 am – 4:00 pmTrack open, with lunch break Noon – 1:00 pm. (Media Center
Open for buffet lunch - $12 pp at the door – both days.

Thursday, June 15th:
6:00 amGates open.
7:45 am – 8:15 amMANDATORY Driver’s Meeting in the Garage.
8:30 am – 4:30 pmTrack open, with lunch break Noon – 1:00 pm.
ON-TRACK SCHEDULE: Both days

8:00 am – 8:30 amHigh Horsepower group (A) 8:30 am – 9:00 am Low HP
8:30 am – 9:00 am Low Horsepower group (B) 9:00 am – 9:30 am High HP
9:00 am – 12 noon Ongoing On Track Session 9:30 am – 12 noon Ongoing
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm Ongoing On Track Session 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm Ongoing
On the top of the hour, A group “owns” the track; on the bottom half of the hour, B group “owns” the track. Be mindful during On-Track sessions on who “owns” the track. If you are out in the other group be mindful of slower/faster cars and drive accordingly.
There is no camping at the track for this event.
