TONY LESHINSKI
Mr. Leshinski requested approval for a resolution to purchase one (1) HP Optical Jukebox under state contract from CDW at a cost not to exceed $15,000. Motion-Bateman; second-Powers; Rothenberger-aye; absent-Henderson; carried and approved.
DIANE CARLTON
Ms. Carlton requested approval for a budget amendment for the LESA grant. Discussion. Motion-Bateman; second-Powers only if the project is completed by June 1; Rothenberger-aye; absent-Henderson.
Ms. Carlton requested a resolution awarding the bid for the sale of buses to Louis Brookman. Motion-Rothenberger; second-Bateman; Powers-aye; absent-Henderson.
JAMES PALMER
Mr. Palmer requested a transfer.
PAT GAMBITTA
Ms. Gambitta requested approval to transfer monies within Personal Service to fund a vacant Staff Social Worker position and a resolution to allow her to fill that vacancy. Discussion. Ms. Gambitta was advised that since the transfer is within Personal Service, this only requires Parent Committee approval. Also, a resolution to fill a vacant funded position only requires Parent Committee approval.
KAREN LIDDLE, SHERIFF MUNDY, UNDERSHERIFF CARROLL
Mrs. Liddle requested reinstatement of various equipment in the STOP-DWI budget, including $28,712 for a 2003 Ford Expedition 4x4 patrol vehicle. Discussion. Motion-Bateman; second-Powers; no-Rothenberger; absent-Henderson; motion failed.
LYNN BASS
Ms. Bass presented the committee with the Empire Zone budget for its review.
Ms. Bass requested approval for a resolution to pay $15,000 in dues to the Mohawk Valley Economic Development District. Motion-Powers; second-Rothenberger; aye-Bateman; absent-Henderson; carried and approved.
DORA MOORE
Mrs. Moore presented various transfers.
GENERAL
The County Attorney/Risk Manager requested resolutions to contract with Southern New York Claims Service and McFee Risk Management for adjusting and investigating insurance claims. Motion-Bateman; second-Powers; aye-Rothenberger; absent-Henderson; carried and approved.
