Director/Manager, Customer relations

Simcere of America (“SOA”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Simcere Pharmaceutical, a leading Chinese pharmaceutical company (NYSE: SCR). With annual revenue of $300M and a growth rate approaching 30%, Simcere is on a fast growth trajectory in one of the largest pharmaceutical markets in the world. We are seeking a capable seasoned medical communications professional to join our newly established Simcere of America team to lead our efforts of managing clinician communications and education programs.

This position will report to President of Simcere of America and be based in Princeton, New Jersey. Travel is expected for this position.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

·  Develop and execute U.S. medical education plan for clinicians who are considered key opinion leaders in China

·  Collaborate with our marketing team to understand the needs of our KOLs and design medical educational events in the U.S.

·  Organize the events and attendance by our Chinese KOLs and provide logistical assistance

·  Manage budget and resources (including external vendors) associated with various events

·  Liaison with the medical community to identify and develop key speakers in U.S.

·  Identify thought leaders in the U.S. and manage advisory board to support our ongoing clinical development of pipeline drugs

QUALIFICATIONS:

·  10+ working experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in academic setting in a medical school

·  Previous experience in managing clinicians highly desired

·  Self-starter, with excellent organizational skills

·  Excellent communication skills

·  Fluent in Chinese
