YOUNG LIFE CELBRATES ITS WORK WITHIN THE NEW CANAAN COMMUNITY

On Sunday May 20, New Canaan adults gathered to celebrate and support the work of Young Life. New Canaan parent and Young Life Committee member Susan Price opened the event by briefly explaining the significance of Young Life within the community. New Canaan Young Life Staff Bryan Reaume recapped the exciting events that have occurred over the past year. The guests heard Saxe Middle School student Sammy Escherich explain how Young Life’s middle school WyldLife program has impacted her life over the past two years. She said, “WyldLife is a place that welcomes everyone without making anyone feel insecure or left out. I know that I can ask my leaders anything.”

The May 20 Celebration helped raise awareness, practical support, and necessary funds to continue the work of Young Life in New Canaan. Continued local support is needed on all levels. Golfers and hole sponsors are currently needed for the Young Life Golf Classic on June 11 at the Country Club of Darien.
