MINOR VOLUNTEER WAIVER AND RELEASE
In consideration of allowing ______(“Volunteer”) to participate as a volunteer in the 2016 Union County Heritage Festival and 5K Trail Run event (the “Event”), I agree to protect, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Union County, Union County Extension Master Gardeners, their respective agents, officers, members, and employees from and against all losses, professional fees, costs, damages, and other expenses or liabilities of every kind and character arising out of or relating to any and all claims, liens, demands, obligations, actions, proceedings, and causes of action of every kind in connection with or arising out of the Event that are due, in whole or in part, to the negligence of Volunteer. I, on behalf of Volunteer waive, release, and discharge Union County, Union County Master Gardeners, their respective agents, volunteers, sponsors, officers, members, and employees of and from any and all claims, damages, demands, costs, liability and causes of action whatsoever that may arise as a result of Volunteer’s participation in the Event, including but not limited to, any claims, causes of action, liabilities, damages, demands, and costs related to loss of, or injury to, Volunteer’s person or property. This waiver and release shall inure to the benefit of Union County and Union County Extension Master Gardeners, and shall bind both Volunteer and me, along with our heirs, legal representatives, assigns, and successors in interest. I, on behalf of Volunteer, and on my behalf, agree to abide by all reasonable rules and regulations set forth by Union County and Union County Extension Master Gardeners related to the Event.
