Old Business:

  1. Campus Community Updates-Chelsea

-Oracle 12C upgrade

-

  1. Collections message on student center view-DeeWe found that this message is in the message catalog which means it can easily be edited.

-Chelsea requested this language be deleted. None opposed –Chelsea will submit a ticket to have the message deleted from the student center view.

  1. Corporate/Organization accounts-DeeIt still does not sound like this is feasible with the current Campus Solutions setup/security. She reached out to TouchNet and they sent her the Client Community SponsorPoint page: If you don’t have a login, there is information included on how you can attain access. They’re working on getting a quote. TouchNet also mentioned that they could set up a live demo if we are interested in seeing more.

-The cost is broken out by campus – contact Dee and she can give a quote to each campus

-Chelsea asked if this can be set up on share point so campuses can see what is included before making a decision.

-Tom stated this can be done

  1. eBill Statement Message-Dorreen

- Carla asked that NDUS be removed from the sentence regarding the student’s bill being generated.

- Chelsea asked that the sentence stating “the statement reflects the balance owed at your respective NDUS institution be removed.

- decided to remove the amount due and the due date

- Each school should send contact information to Dorreen at NDSU. She will submit a ticket with updates and school contact information

-Dee will check on centering and bolding information.

New Business:

  1. Tuition Cap Exceeded – COMGEN Notification- Dorreen

Are other campuses interested in exploring the possibility of creating a COMGEN trigger that emails students when they’ve exceeded the tuition cap and will be incurring additional (possibly unexpected) tuition charges?

-After discussion, it was decided that Dorreen will determine which queries and information she will use and contact Chad so he can look into the setup of this.

  1. Detailed Account Summary – Multiple Semesters-Dorreen

-After discussion, it was decided a workgroup would be formed. Chelsea, Dorreen, Chad and Marie will be on the workgroup. Dorreen will set up a meeting.

  1. Automated process to inactivate direct deposit information- Tyson

-Quarterly CTS revokes inactive DDP.

-Tammy at NDSU is manually inactivating the bank accounts each quarter.

-CTS was wondering if other schools are also manually inactivating the bank accounts.

-After discussion, it was decided that Tyson will get more information on the process from Tammy at NDSU and discuss at the next meeting.

Development Request List: Marie Lindstrom, NDUS

-6 DR’s have moved to production since the last meeting

-A Dr is in stage for MoveIt which could possibly replace Sofie

-Marie will be sending the 1098T transmittal to the IRS on 3/23/17.

-Marie will run the 1098Tvaliddation on the afternoon of 3/22/17.

Other Items of Discussion:

-Tom discussed the 9.2 upgrade. If you would like additional information he has set up a road map on the CTS website – CTS.ndus.edu

-Judy asked about collaborative students with 3rd party authorizations and how the 3rd party payment is handled.

-Mary stated if a provider receives a 3rd party payment for a student they should notify the home school to reduce the collaborative charges on the students account by the amount received from the 3rd party
