The Diocesan Pastoral Council is delighted to announce that our Archdiocese is once again arranging a special celebration of significant ‘Marriage Anniversaries’. Celebration will take place on Sunday October 19th @ 3pm in the Cathedral in Tuam. Years, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, 50th, 55th, 60th, are especially invited to attend. Supporting Children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). An evening presentation on supporting children who have ASD will take place in the Mayo Education Centre (beside the GMIT) on Tuesday 14th October next starting at 7 p.m. The focus will be on helping the children get the most from their school education so as to develop their academic ability, their social skills and assist them to gain independence. Presenter: Dr. Michelle Dunleavy.

Rainbows for Children. An information night for parents /guardians of children who may wish to attend the Rainbows programme will be held in the Family Centre, Chapel St., Castlebar on Wednesday 15th October at 8 p.m. Rainbows provides a 12 week programme for children between the ages of 7 and 18 years who have be affected by the death of somebody close to them or the separation of their parents.
