1. Interview Head Coaches - Ken Labek
· LTS – Tom Terhune; Mite Development (U6) – Paul Grunert (could not attend)
· Mite (U8) – Stan Malecki; Squirt – Tom Terhune (lower), Mick Pacholski (upper)
· PeeWee – Ken Labek (lower), Bob Fiedler (upper); Bantam – Gordon Perkins (lower), Pat Birmingham (upper); Midget – Rob Vose, Pat Hughes
2. Bantam/Midget Parent Meeting Report – Val Breda & Julie Higgins
- Meeting was 2/6/17 - Met with Suffield/Granby/WL and Tri-Town Coach. Suffield coach advocates for players and parents to choose ½ year or full year bantam. Player fees
- Tri-Town COOP- coach would like to see players come up – play ½ year with EHA and then join the program, if 25 players they may pick up some JV games.
-Meeting with Enfield Coach on 2/10/17 Coop Team –Ed Poremba & Julie Higgins- No JV team, explained process how players earn time, and tuition fee to play.
3. Finalize Tryout fees, Player Tuitions, Registration Documents, other – Ken, Julie Higgins
- Tuition is table until next meeting
- There was a motion for Julie Higgins to put an electronic proposal for tryout fees, Val 2nd, 9 YES, 0 NO- Increase tryout fee to $300, and $150 will be credited to commitment fee
4. CHC and USA Hockey Latest News – Bob Fiedler
- Mite Jamboree (U6) schedule unknown
- We need to find out if we can open midget registration
- Bantam tryouts cannot take place until after nationals (4/9)
5. CHC PeeWee Tournament – March 15-17 ETR
- Tournament Director? T-Shirt Vendor?
6. Annual Meeting
- Motion to move to 4/17: Deb Samek; Second: Missy Broxton; 9 in favor
- Annual Meeting will be held on 4/17/17 at Henry Barnard School Library
7. EHA Making two memorial contributions $50 each for in memory of Bobby Calabrese (Make a Wish)
In memory of Robert Grunert (Alzheimer’s Association)
8. Vote on coaches
- Motion to accept all coaches that were present and Paul Grunert not in attendance due to death in family; Julie Malecki; Second: Julie Higgins; 9 in favor- All coaches accepted
