If a payment scheduled is chosen by the student, a $50.00 administrative fee is charged and added on to the total price. When selecting a payment plan, the balance due will automatically be charged to your account upon completion of 40% of course. By checking box below the student agrees to pay Colorado Real Estate School the total stated tuition and fees. The school agrees to provide the occupational training in accordance with the provisions of Catalog No 12-01-10 Volume 1. Payment of all monies due shall be a condition of continuing education. Upon satisfactory completion of all academic and skill requirements and when all financial obligations to the school have been met, the school will award the letter of eligibility and the REC33 Certificate to the student. The student and the school understand that this Enrollment Agreement, WHICH INCLUDES THE REFUND POLICY, may not be amended except in writing and signed by both parties.

REFUND POLICY

1. A full refund of tuition and fees paid if the school does not accept applicant.

2.  A full refund of tuition and fees if student cancels the enrollment and returns all materials in new condition within three (3) days of the day of enrollment, providing the student has not started training, and the school receives notice no later than midnight of the third day following enrollment. All materials must be returned to the school in new condition or the student will be charged a fee of $75 for replacement of books and materials.

2.  A full refund of tuition and fees in the event the school discontinues a course or program of education during a period of time within which a student could have reasonably completed the same.

3.  All refunds will be made within thirty (30) days of receiving notice of termination.

4.  Colorado Real Estate School will retain a cancellation fee of $150.00 from the refund proceeds exclusive of books, materials and supplies, when the student withdraws or terminates this agreement after the three (3) days and before they have begun their training.

5.  Should a student terminate training after they have begun classes the refund will be based on the following considerations:

a.  A student terminating training prior to the completion of 10% of the program; will be issued no certificate; the student shall be entitled to a refund of 90% of tuition exclusive of books, and materials, and the $150.00 cancellation fee.

b.  A student terminating training after 10% but within the first 25% of the program; will be issued no certificate; the student shall be entitled to a refund of 75% of tuition exclusive of books, and materials, and the $150.00 cancellation fee.

c.  A student terminating training after 25% but within the first 50% of the program; will be issued no certificate; the student shall be entitled to a refund of 50% of tuition exclusive of books, and materials, and the $150.00 cancellation fee.

d.  A student terminating training after 50% but within the first 75% of the program; will be issued no certificate; the student shall be entitled to a refund of 75% of tuition exclusive of books, and materials, and the $150.00 cancellation fee.

e.  A student terminating training after 75% but prior to completion of the program; will be issued no certificate; shall not be entitled to any refund.

f.  All training must be completed within the time frame established by the school which is twelve months.

6. This refund policy shall not be affected or impacted in any way by the granting of credit for previous training.

POSTPONEMENT POLICY

Postponement of a starting date, whether by the student or the school, requires a written agreement signed by the student and the school. The agreement must set forth:

1.  Whether the postponement is for the convenience of the school or the student.

2.  A deadline for the new start date, beyond which the start date will not be postponed.

If the student fails to attend by the new start date set forth in the agreement, the student will be entitled to a refund exclusive of books and materials and the $150.00 cancellation fee; determined in accordance with the school’s refund policy and all applicable laws and rules concerning the Private Occupational Education Act of 1981.

PLACEMENT POLICY

Upon satisfactory completion of the course of training by the student and upon fulfillment by the student of terms of this agreement, the school will issue a certificate of completion. In accordance with the rules and regulations of the school, all graduates are to receive the benefits of any and all placement services maintained by the school. The school does not guarantee positions of employment. The undersigned hereby acknowledges receipt of this contract and copy of the current school catalog. If a student has a complaint, the student may file and complaint to the Department of Higher Education, Division of Private Occupational Schools within two (2) years.

FILING COMPLAINTS

Students may file complaints online (www.st.co.us/dpos) or by mail with the Division of Private Occupational Schools, www.highered.colorado.gov/dpos, at 1560 Broadway, Suite 1600, Denver, CO 80202, 303-866-2723 within two years of enrollment.

BUYERS RIGHT TO CANCEL

If you do not want the goods or services you may cancel this agreement by giving written notice to the school. The notice must say that you do not want the goods or services and must be received before midnight of the third (3rd) business day after you have signed the agreement. The notice must be mailed to the address at the top of this contract or e-mailed to .

HOLDER IN DUE COURSE

Any holder of this consumer credit contract is subject to all claims and defenses which the debtor could assert against the seller of goods or services obtained pursuant hereto or with the proceeds hereof. Recovery herein under by the debtor shall not exceed amounts paid by the debtor herein under.
