World Book Day

Everyone looked splendid dressed up as their favourite book characters. On your way to school this morning, you might have spotted Milly Molly Mandy, Spongebob Squarepants, Moaning Myrtle, The Snow Queen, The Cat in the Hat, Shrek, Dorothy, Mary Poppins, a penguin, Robin Hood, the White Rabbit, Angelina Ballerina, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare, Horrid Henry, Little Bo Peep, Oliver Twist, Dick Turpin, Thing 2, not to mention a variety of princesses, wizards, native Americans, cowgirls and cowboys, Where’s Wallys, Mr Bumps, super heroes and pirates! All the children did very well indeed and though it was for fun and not a competition, they are all winners in our eyes. Well done, everybody!

Cool Milk

You may be aware that our school currently provides free milk for all children under five.We do this via a company called Cool Milk, who process all the orders, liaise with our local dairy and ensure our milk is delivered on time.

On Tuesday, 11th March there will be a special whole school assembly to help raise awareness of the benefits of drinking milk, where milk comes from, and how it is produced. All the children will be offered a complimentary drink of milk on that day and some goodies to bring home.
