The Twisted Wizard Ice Show Committee has created this package so you have all the important information, dates and times at your fingertips!
DRESS REHEARSAL
CANSKATERS - Dress Rehearsals
Your Dress Rehearsals will be taking place at the Jimmie Condon Arena during your regular CanSkate lessons please watch out for information coming via email and on the website.
ALL NON CanSkater - Dress Rehearsal
Dress rehearsal for ALL skaters who are NOT in CanSkate will be taking place on Wednesday, April 22 from 5:15 pm onwards at the Jimmie Condon Arena.
Please make sure you are at the rink wearing your full costume with hair and make-up completed.
Skaters must arrive by 30 minutes prior to the start of the rehearsal (unless otherwise advised by their coach) and please proceed to the Registration Desks located at the entrance to the dressing rooms.
Unfortunately due to the limited amount of seating at Jimmie Condon it will be hard to seat everyone.
If possible - Please drop your skater off and come back to collect them at 7:00 pm as that would be preferred.
HAIR & MAKE-UP
Hair and make-up instructions will be coming to each group individually. Please watch your email or the twistedwizard.com website for further information.
ICE SHOW
The Ice Show will take place at the
Winsport International Arena ‘A’
Markin MacPhail Building,

Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm.
Note: There is no intermission during the Ice Show.
SKATER DROP OFF & PICK UP
All skaters must arrive no later than 12:45pm on April 25, 2015 for the Ice Show in full costume with hair and make-up done. Skaters should proceed to the Registration Desk located at the entrance to the dressing rooms on the Event Floor – International Arena ‘A’. There will be ushers in the Lobby at the main floor entrance to the Markin MacPhail building to direct you.
Please Note: Only Preschool parents will be allowed to take their skater to the dressing room. The parent/guardian who signs the skater in MUST sign out the skater – no exceptions please.
All dressing rooms & skater seating areas will be supervised by parent volunteers. We will have volunteers helping tie skates, etc.
There will be some waiting time in the dressing rooms for the skaters before their group performs. They will be asked to remain seated with their group at all times. Please pack an activity for your younger child (IPod, DSI, sticker book, etc.) to keep them busy. PLEASE NO MARKERS or FELT PENS.
All skaters (except Preschooler -Read below) will be able to watch the Ice Show after they complete their number from a designated ‘skater seating’ area within the arena. Skaters in the second half of the show will be seated in the ‘skater seating’ area prior to their number. Coaches and parent volunteers will escort skaters in/out of the dressing rooms to the ‘skater seating’ area and will sit with their designated group of skaters for the duration of the show.
Skater Bag Check List - Please label all bags/items:
· Pair of skates
· Set of hard guards
· Small hand-held activity for the dressing room (IPod, DSI, sticker book, etc.)
· Water bottle
· Small nut-free, hand held, easy to eat snack (granola bar, non-staining fruit or crackers)
· NO MONEY or VALUABLES – the skaters will NOT be allowed upstairs to purchase any food
PRESCHOOLERS
Due to the preschooler’s young age, once your skater has performed their group number they must be signed out and picked up from their dressing room. Parents will then escort their skater(s) to the sit in the stands with them. Preschool skaters will NOT sit in the designated ‘skater seating’ area. Please remember to save a seat for your preschooler!
SILENT AUCTION & 50/50
Our silent auction and 50/50 will be open from 12:00 pm and during the ice show. We encourage everyone to take a look!
This year we have a great selection of items that have been generously donated by our sponsors along with our showstopper this year – Tickets for two to see Taylor Swift in Vancouver
Tickets for the Silent Auction and 50/50 draw can be purchased at the Lobby level Boutique. Auction and 50/50 prizes will be announced at the end of the show. Prized may be picked up at the Boutique – Cash, Cheques and Credit Cards will be accepted and should be made payable to Calalta Figure Skating Club.
COSTUME PICK UP
All costumes will be available for pick up at the Jimmie Condon arena during your class times over the next week prior to photo days.
Note: We are still waiting on delivery on a few costume pieces. Please be patient and know your skaters costume has been ordered and will arrive on time for the Dress Rehearsals & Photos
TICKETS
Tickets are still available for pre-order and can be purchased by completing the Ticket Order Form attached.
Prices are as follows:
(Children 3 and under are free)
· $12 per ticket
· $40 per Family Pack of 4 tickets
Pre ordered tickets will be available for pick up and purchase during the Dress Rehearsal on April 22, 2015 from: 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the Jimmie Condon Arena between 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. and at the Ice Show on April 25, 2015 at Main Lobby - Winsport, International Arena A – Markin MacPhail Centre.
Ice Show Ticket prices (at the door)
· $14 per ticket
· $40 per Family Pack of 4 tickets
Please drop all orders in the Calalta mailbox located in the lobby of Jimmie Condon Arena no later than end of day: April 20, 2015

DVD ORDERS
New Concept Films will video the entire Ice Show again this year and will be in attendance during the dress rehearsals to capture those candid moments.
DVDs maybe be pre ordered by completing the attached DVD Purchase Order Form. Please make Cheques payable to New Concept Films.

PROGRAMS
Programs will be available for purchase at $4.00 each in the lobby of the Winsport International Arena ‘A’ on the day of the Ice Show from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.

GARDEN CAFÉ - CONCESSION
The Garden Cafe at Winsport is located on the main concourse level near the main entrance of the Markin MacPhail Centre, just past the elevators.
The menu offers a wide variety of healthy and hearty meal and snack options.
Please Note: There is NO intermission during the Ice Show.
PARKING
There is NO CHARGE for parking at the Winsport facility for our Ice Show event. Come early to guarantee a good spot!
