1 point knockout event
This year we will also be holding a 1 point knockout event. Players can enter on the day at a cost of £1. Play will be halted on all tables at a suitable stage of the tournament and every player in the hall will gather round table 1 to create a tense atmosphere. Players are drawn at random in a straight knockout format with the lower ranked player on the day serving. Players will play just 1 point with the winner going through to the next round. The overall winner will receive the entire cash pot which could be as much as £40+
The event should take approximately 15 minutes to complete and there are sure to be some shocks along the way. If you would like to enter, please speak to the organiser Sue Tompsett on the day, any time up until the event starts.
There is parking at both the rear and the front of the school. Players are advised to park at the rear of the school (access via Pinkerton Road) as the sports hall is located at the end of the rear car park.
Players parking at the front of the school will need to come through reception, out the double doors at the back of the canteen area, turn right and the sports hall entrance is located on the right.
