Customs and quarantine
ChineseCustomsneedstobenotifiedofyourpet’sarrivalinadvanceoftravel.
Onarrival, youwillneedtotakethepet, fees, andcertificatestotheAnimalandPlantQuarantine Office (CIQ) attheairport.
Thepetisrequiredtocomplete a 30-day quarantineinthe CIQ designatedfacility.
Duringquarantine, ifclinicalsymptomsareobserved, petswillberequiredtohaveanexaminationandundergolaboratorytesting.
Thepetwillbereleasedonlyafterthepetisdeterminedtobehealthyandhaspassedtherequiredtesting.

DogsneedtoberegisteredwiththelocalpoliceofyourplaceofresidencewithinonemonthofarrivalinChina.
