We’re on Mastiff time now ~ January 2010 is here and May is just around the corner, which means we will all be enjoying a Great show in Eugene, Oregon very soon! We have been working very hard to make our dreams come true. “Escape, Relax, Renew”, and will do all in our power to make it just that. “Escape” from what ever is happening in your life, “Relax” and enjoy your time in the Great North West and “Renew” past and old acquaintances.

Trophy Donations... It is always fun to see what dogs/people/kennels are honored by those who choose to support the trophies in their favorite classes. Annual Basket Raffle…. is looking for those amazing baskets from the Regional Organizations. You can check with Laura Olsen and Lynda Perkins (Laura , Lynda ) for rules and other information.
The Rescue Foundation, Inc….. will again hold a Silent Auction and if that is an area that you would want to support, contact Danna Burnett (). She will tell you where you can send your items or you can bring them with you, but we would like to know!

Catalog Ads…….Special Mastiff or Mastiffs that impacted your life with his/hers presence, but is no longer with you. We are offering a Special Section in this year’s catalogue to pay tribute to those Mastiffs who have been so much a part of our lives and brought this breed to where it is today. We are offering these mastiffs a special full page; B & W photo and text for $45.00. Specialty Packet inserts... Just a reminder, they will be included in the premium list. These inserts will give you details on the Nationals and Special events. The Premium list will go out in March and the closing date is April 28, 2010, so don’t put off sending in your entries the show will be here before you know it.
Special events…. This year we are offering seminars such as “Building Drive in Performance dogs”, “Rules, Tools and Tricks of Positive Reinforcement” Health Seminar “Cystinuria” presented by Dr. Paula Henthorn, “Handling – Beginning and Advanced”, “Breed Standard”, “Everything you wanted to know about Mastiff sex and were afraid to ask” and “Junior seminar”. Other events are Conformation puppy match Monday May 24th and Obedience/Rally fun match Tuesday May 25th.
Ice Breaker Party…. with entertainment hosted by CEMC!

2010 National Rescue Parade and Parade of Titleholders!
If you or know of someone attending that the MCOA National Specialty with a rescued Mastiff, please contact Danna Burnett (), 2010 Rescue Parade Chair if you would like to be included in the Annual Rescue Parade, which will be Saturday May 29. She will need a brief write up on your Mastiffs history.
We will once again offer the Parade of Titleholders at the Nationals. Please contact Cece Wardell (). Forms can be downloaded from the 2010 Specialty web site http://www.cascademastiff.com/2010MCOASpecialty/ .
The entry fee is $20.00 and includes a large Rosette with the dogs name imprinted on it. Any AKC title is acceptable including Rally, Obedience, agility or Champion. Entry deadline for the Parade of Titleholders is April 28th. Please note: These get sent to Cece Wardell – NOT to the Show Superintendent.
