A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO RECOGNIZE AND CONGRATULATE BOY SCOUT TIMOTHY PUTNAM OF HARTSVILLE ON RECEIVING THE PRESTIGIOUS EAGLE SCOUT AWARD, COMMEND HIM FOR HIS HARD WORK, PERSEVERANCE, AND MANY ACHIEVEMENTS WHILE EARNING THE HIGHEST HONOR IN SCOUTING, AND WISH HIM EVERY SUCCESS IN ALL OF HIS FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly are very pleased to learn that Boy Scout Timothy Putnam of Hartsville has earned the prestigious and coveted Eagle Scout Award, the highest honor in scouting; and

Whereas, as an active member of Boy Scout Troop 7, Timothy Putnam attended troop meetings faithfully, participated in many overnight camps, held high leadership positions, and performed or participated in numerous individual or troop service projects in the community; and

Whereas, this fine scout, while progressing steadily through the ranks of scouting, demonstrated that he lived by the principles of the Scout Oath and Law in his daily life. He is a source of pride to his troop, his family, and to all who know and have had the pleasure of working and serving with him throughout his scouting career; and

Whereas, he had achieved most of his merit badges required for Eagle by the age of sixteen and few scouts have been as dedicated to or as active in scouting as he has been; and

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, would like to publicly recognize and congratulate this outstanding young man on the occasion of this truly deserved award. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
