* See the other side for a short description of these projects

1.  HPV :Design, fabricate, test, and race a human-powered vehicle.

2.  Drop Coalescence in Micro Gravity: To design and build a device for use on NASA's "weightless wonder" that is capable of filming the coalescence of two drops with high speed video.

3.  Water Filteration Membrane Removal: Design and build a device that assists and makes it safer for the operators when removing heavy reverse osmosis membranes from the pressure vessel tubes.

4.  Formula SAE: Design, fabricate and test systems for a Formula style race car that uses a 600 cc engine. The systems are: Steering, suspension, uprights, Chassis and differential mounts.

5.  Mini Baja: Design, fabricate, and test a modular suspension and automated transmission scaled Baja ATV.

6.  Automated Lapping Machine Attachment: Design and build an attachment for a lapping machine to quickly accommodate various size gearboxes.

7.  Metal Insert Placement System: Design and install modifications to an existing machine that places metal insert into polymer molds. The modifications allow identification of insert material, assure proper insert temperature, and allow easy evacuation of insert cartridges.

8.  Tile Removal System: Design and build a system to remove damaged tiles and adhesive from the floors of luxury RV’s that contain electrical floor heating. This system will include a heated scraping tool to remove the adhesive, a heating unit to pre-heat the tile before removal and a process for removing the tile including scoring the tile and applying thermal shock to fracture the tile.

9.  Thermofluid Control of a Microscale Cell Culture Platform: Design and fabrication of a thermal measurement and control device for a micro-fluidic cell culture platform.

10. Digital Foot Impression: Design and build a device to accurately, inexpensively, and digitally measure the foot profile of people for custom foot orthotics. (With ECE)
