Procedure:

2.Students will formulate specific “To Do” list for each class needed for graduation

3.Students will set individual follow up appointments with group leaders for first week in June

Plan for Evaluation: How will each of the following be collected?

Process Data: Process data is the method of evaluation using figures to show the activities, such as numbers of students served, groups and classroom visits. The process data for this group is 10 students met 6 times during “Bruin Block” for a 45 minute lesson pertaining to skills and information needed to work toward graduation.

Perception Data: Perception data measures what students and others observe, perceive, knowledge gained, attitudes, beliefs held or competencies attained. On the first meeting of the group students were asked to complete a pre-test regarding their particular reasons for having graduation in June in jeopardy. At the conclusion of the group the same students were given the corresponding post-test. The results were compared and analyzed.

Outcome Data: Outcome data is how students are measurably different as a result of the school counseling program. We went from a 98% graduation rate in 2014 to a 99.998% graduation rate in 2015. We were just shy of our 100% graduation rate goal.

Follow Up: We feel strongly about every student working toward an on-time graduation goal. We will continue to run this group the next academic year and continue to strive to have ALL seniors graduate on time.
