Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your enquiry about the post of house marketing coordinator.

house is funded through the Arts Council England's National Portfolio programme to develop the range and quality of contemporary theatre touring across the South East and East England.

A little about our ambitions. For some time we have been exploring how we might better connect the ambitions of artists with those of venue programmers and audiences. To us these feel disconnected and we wanted to think anew – and sometimes return to old thinking – so that we could better support audiences and artists, especially in these difficult times. The result is house, which is working with venues across the South East to tour theatre, underwrite performances and re-commission work that might have a second life. You can find out more at

We want the Maltings to be a happy, creative organisation. We are looking for someone who has experience of marketing in theatre, someone with an enthusiasm for our ambition and an understanding of the challenges of touring theatre.

Hopefully the attached job description will give you a sense of the main duties of this post. However If you want an informal conversation about the post feel free to call Kate Bainbridge on 01252 745412.

To apply, please could you fill in the attached application form and should you decide to apply, good luck.
