The main objective of this project is to design, develop, test and validate a new i-PPE prototype, advanced airbag technology – based; full-body wearable, portable and easy to use; focused on protecting the workers against high falls from a height; mainly addressed to the construction sector; supported on ergonomics and human health requirements; integrating in an innovative design state of the art sensors, computational systems & algorithms, ICT, textile components, etc and with capabilities to be exported to other industrial, sportive and domestic activities.

Short description of profile (competences required, geographic origin etc., max 100 words):
SME manufacturing advanced technical textiles, in an EU country (excepting Spain). Competences required: For developingthe textile part(bag/s) of the airbag prototype, main tasks to be covered by the EURATEX SME will be: 1) supporting the design, 2) selecting & supplying technical textile material and finally 3) manufacturing the prototype (bag/s). In any case, the priority of the SAFEFALL consortium is to integrate a SME covering, in an appropriate way, the necessary competences required by the project. Then, SME origin country constitutes asecond priority.
