Catalog Description:
An introduction to robotics: history and background, design, industrial applications and usage. Manipulator sensors, actuators and control: linear, non-linear, and force control. Manipulator kinematics: position and orientation, frame assignment, transformations, forward and inverse kinematics. Jacobian: velocities and static forces. Manipulator Kinetics: velocity, acceleration, force. Trajectory generation. Programming languages: manipulator level, task level, and object level. Introduction to advanced robotics.
