About Pharmacist Support
Pharmacist Support is an independent charity for pharmacists and their families, former pharmacists, pre-registration trainees and pharmacy students. Our free and confidential support includes financial assistance, an information and enquiry service, a stress helpline, debt, benefits and employment advice, addiction support and a new wellbeing service.
The Charity has provided a lifeline to those who, through circumstances often beyond their control – personal illness, disability or other life changing events - have required help and assistance. This has been provided in many formats, on a short or long-term basis and is specifically tailored to the individual’s circumstances.
Pharmacist Support values diversity and promotes equality. We encourage and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.
The job role
The charity has recently researched, piloted and launched a new wellbeing service, consisting of a series of wellbeing workshops and an online support tool. These services address the signs and symptoms of stress and anxiety and equip service users with tools and techniques to help with feelings of pressure. We are now looking to recruit a Wellbeing Manager responsible for the overall management and development of the charity’s wellbeing initiatives.
The charity is seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join its existing team in Manchester. The post requires an experienced project manager, competent in planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation as well as staff and supplier/contract management. The successful applicant will have the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people using a range of communications channels, initiate and manage a range of collaborative working relationships and meet challenging milestones. Experience in the design and delivery of new initiatives is essential.
An organogram showing the charity’s staffing structure is enclosed.
