· Begin Looking at essay writing “AP-style” Comparative essays
o Read the “Comparative Essay” section from the book, pg. I
o Parts of a thesis (“How to Write a Thesis” handout)
o Look at “Where the *** is Matt” videos, both #1 and #2
§ Take notes on basic Venn diagram
o Write thesis with “Where the *** is Matt?” for the question
§ Between 2008 and 2012, Matt and Stride gum changed their approach to the “Where the *** is Matt” videos presentation of their message of human “sameness” to reflect different aspects of this general theme. Compare and contrast the two approaches to this delivery.
