Gift Aid.

You can make your membership fee a gift aid donation simply by completing the form below and stating the total membership fee paid. If you also wish to make a donation you can add this to the membership fee total. Gift Aid means that the Society will receive an additional 25p for every £1 received from you in membership fees and donations. This 25p is not an additional tax you have to pay –it is a Government funded scheme which the Society claims directly from.

If you are not a tax payer then Gift Aid does not apply to your donation/fee.

Thank you for your contribution.

(Membership fee and/or donation) Please accept £………………… as my Gift Aid donation to the CVHS.

Please notify the CVHS if you change your name or home address.

Tax claimed by the charity • The charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 you give. This transitional relief for the charity does not affect your personal tax position. If you pay income tax at the higher rate, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return if you want to receive the additional tax relief due to you.
