Expression of Interest
The Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad, with funding from The World Bank, intends to implement the Rajasthan Rural Livelihood Project. The project aims to enhance the economic opportunities and empowerment of the rural poor with a focus on women and marginalized groups in 17 targeted districts (Baran, Bhilwara, Bundi, Banswara, Bikaner, Chittorgarh, Churu, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Karoli, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Rajsamand, Tonk & Udaipur) of Rajasthan. The State Project Management Unit invites Expression of Interest to undertake vocational skill development and employment/placement of rural youths in these districts. In the assignment it is estimated to train about one thousand youth per district to develop employability skills in them and arrange to create opportunities for their appropriate jobs and placements. The assignment is expected to be completed by 31st March, 2014.
The agencies /institutes must provide information proving that they are qualified and competent to perform the services. The proposals should also contain information as per the questionnaire given on the website alongwith, details of financial turn over for last 3 financial years (average turnover should not be less than 20.0 lacs) and a declaration by the head of the institution stating that the agency has not been black listed by any government department/institution.
The Agencies / Institutions will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s guidelines. The shortlisting of the agencies/institutes for purpose of issuance of RFP may be done either for a block, couple of blocks, district, couple of districts, regional or divisional basis.Therefore, the interested agencies/institutions should mention the names of the block/districts for operation of work giving priority in descending order.
The interested Agencies / Institutes may obtain form and other information from our website or at the address mentioned below between 9.30 AM to 6.00 PM on any working day. Expression of Interest must be delivered to the address mentioned below by March31, 2012 by 6.00 PM.
