Contacts to international coordinators in Danish VET schools (TEC, Selandia, Roskilede Tekniske Skole, CPH West, and SOSU C åroposing TOOLS course in 2015
Handed out 250 newsletters, 50 brochures and 200 DVDsduring the EfVET conference in Athens
Seasonal greeting to approximately 400 language teachers.
Edited and published two project newsletters.
Made several tweets and entries in Facebook pages (both the projects own and in other relevant pages)
The article on TOOLS and how to use Clilstore for the Danish language teacher magazine “Sprogforum” was published in August (as part of a book).
Handed out 150 newsletters, 100 brochures and 100 DVDs during the Eurocall conference in Evora.
Manned the TOOLS exhibition stand during the Eurocall conference and interviewed attendees to gain feedback for the project.
External impact/mainstreams:
Any multiplier effect/impact. / The Executive Training Institute (ETI) Malta is now running a sequence of language teacher courses where Clilstore is one of the elements. Three teachers from the TOOLS consortium (Ulster, UPV, and SDE) assisted ETI teachers running a two weeks CLIL course in August for 30 participants from all over Europe
Overall comment: / We have piloted the Clilstore service in several classes with a wide spread of student ages and language skills and have started the dissemination and exploitation.
Summary of Local Activities in the period:
Prepared the book files with graphics editing and compiled the eBooks in .pdf, .epub, and azw3 format, the books are now online in the four formats in Englsih, Danish, Irish, Portuguese, and Spanish.
We have used the project communication systems (emails, blog, and Facebook), been in regular contact with the external quality control (Angelica Buccur), prepared the Eurocall 2013 workshop, edited and updated the website on a daily basis, tested Clilstore in language learning classes, monitored the Clilstore development and suggested improvements, entered several units in Clilstore,prepared articles for the newsletters, edited two newsletters, disseminated the project in Athens and Evora with brochures, and newsletters, prepared the workshop content for Eurocall, participated in the project Facebook page, wrote project related tweets.
Finalized the DIY video in Scottish Gaelic (a final edit) and compiled a new Student video with voice over in Catalan (recorded by a team from Barcelona:-)
Contacted several Danish VET schools to prepare the TOOLS courses planned for 2014.
