I would like to share some tips and links for finding information on OHSU SoN web pages. There are a variety of ways to access information on the website so I’ve included a few I hope you will find helpful.
The Search SON feature, located on the left hand side of the webpage is an open text box with the word “GO” next to it that you can type your search item into. It’s available on all pages that you navigate to. Simply type in what you’re looking for and you will get a list with the top matches. For example, type in the word “catalog” and the first link that comes up is the webpage which lists our catalogs back to 1970! If you want to see a summary of student enrollment in 1968-69, see page 55 of the 1970-71 Bulletin.
The Faculty & Staff button, located on the left-hand side of the SoN Home Page, you to administrative SON information (some are password protected, so if asked, login is son4all, password is shush), including a few items that I’ve listed below that you may need toreference at one time or another:
- Faculty and Staff Handbook
- Organizational Charts
- Strategic plan
- Policies & Bylaws
- Meeting Minutes(back to 2009 for governance approved committees/councils)
The About button on the left hand side of the SoN Home Pageincludes links to:
- Accreditation materials
- Mission, history and campus information and more.
Programs button links you toprogram information, including current Programs of Study. Simply click into the level you want to see and more detail is provided which allows you to drill down to program level.
Students button includes registration and recordsinformation, including current schedules for all programs/campusesas well as course descriptions from the current catalog and from prior years, academic calendar links, orientation and academic and student affairs information and more.
The SoN main page has a SON Links feature on the right hand side of the page, that includes direct links to: academic calendar, catalog and handbook, campuses, centers, technology and minutes.
