RESOLUTION FOR DISCONTINUENCE OF FARRELL ROAD
STATE OF WISCONSIN
Town of Cross Plains
Dane County
The Town Board of the Town of Cross Plains, Dane County, Wisconsin, by this resolution, adopted by a majority of the town board on a roll call vote with a quorum present and voting and proper notice having been given, resolves and declares as follows:
The public way described below is vacated and discontinued under s. 66.1003 (4), Wis. stats. It is in the public interest that the public way described below is vacated and discontinued under s. 66.1003 (4), Wis. stats.
The public way to be discontinued is described as follows: Part of The Northeast 1/4 of The Northwest 1/4 of Section 26, T7N, R7E, Town of Cross Plains, Dane County, Wisconsin being more fully described as follows; Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Section 26; thence S88°58'10"E, 2024.53 feet along the North line of said Northwest 1/4; thence S00°40'19"W, 50.00 feet to a point on the South right-of-way line of Mineral Point Road (C.T.H. 'S') and the point of beginning; thence continuing S00°40'19"W, 899.90 feet; thence N89°19'41"W, 33.00 feet; thence N00°40'19"E, 900.10 feet to a point on afore mentioned North line; thence S88°58'10"E, 33.00 feet along said North line to the point of beginning, containing 29,700 Sq. Feet 0.68 Acres.
The discontinuance of the above-described public way will not result in a landlocked property and no owner of property abutting the discontinued public way will be damaged by the discontinuance. The discontinued public way will be vacated and the land awarded to the following owner or owners of real estate abutting the discontinued way: Steven and Colleen Bowar.
The town clerk shall properly post or publish this resolution as required under s. 60.80, Wis. stats.
