Rationale

The 2015 Australia Alumni Awards is a quest for and recognition of outstanding Australia educated alumni in the Philippines who have demonstrated significant contributions in their fields of endeavour such as public service (at both local and national levels), industry, academe and/or defence sectors through an open nomination process. Regular PA3i members may submit nominations to the Australia Alumni Awards Committee of PA3i for consideration, preliminary screening and validation. Eligible nominees are Filipino citizens above 18 years of age who are graduates of either formal or non-formal education or training from any Australia-based academic and non-academic institutions and bonafide members of the PA3i at the time of the nomination. The Nomination Period will end on 15 March 2015. Three main criteria/merits that will be applied for the judging and selection are accomplishments in the field of endeavour (30%), demonstration of innovation and initiative (30%), and ability to inspire others (40%)[i].
