  • If you are working with one of the church’s musicians, there is an honorarium to be paid to them directly: $150 for memorial services; $300 for weddings.
  • The Audio/Visual operator must be an operator approved by BGCUMC. There is an honorarium to be paid to them directly: $75 for memorial services; $150 for weddings.
  • If you choose to move the piano, our $100 tuning costs will need to be covered.
  • Please do not place any objects on the piano or organ, including flowers.
  • Please do not take refreshments into the sanctuary without prior express approval.
  • Please return rooms to original order.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR USE

The applicant shall certify to be personally responsible for any damage or unnecessary abuse of the facilities, grounds, or equipment growing out of the occupancy of said premises. The applicant shall agree to abide by and enforce the rules and regulations of the Battle Ground Community United Methodist church governing the use of the facilities, grounds and equipment. The applicant shall agree to hold the Battle Ground Community United Methodist Church, The Pacific NW Conference harmless and indemnify for any claims arising out of the event held by the applicant. If applicable, the applicant shall include an additional insured endorsement which includes, Battle Ground Community United Methodist Church, Pacific NW Annual Conference United Methodist Church and their respective directors, officers, trustees, and employees as additional insured. Waiver of subrogation endorsement in favor of the Battle Ground Community United Methodist Church and the Pacific NW Annual Conference United Methodist Church. Evidence of coverage shall be in the form of a Certificate of Insurance. Coverage shall be primary and non-contributory to any coverage available to the BGCUMC and Conference. Insurers shall bear an AMBest Rating of A-/VII or better.

1. It is the applicant’s responsibility to state on the application in the intended use of the facility.

2. Only that portion of the building listed and approved on the application will be available for use.

3. When the building or equipment is damaged or left in an unsatisfactory condition, the responsible party will be billed for the cost of repair, replacement and/or cleaning.

4. Applicants are required to remove, at their expense, materials, equipment, furnishing or rubbish left after their use of the facility. If not done, the owner will remove it and bill the applicant.

5. All local ordinances, including police and fire department regulations shall be obeyed.

6. All meetings will terminate and facility will be vacated by the time specified on the application.

7. All equipment, furniture and other church property will be left in the original condition.

8. Alcoholic beverages or narcotics will not be brought to, consumed within or on the church grounds.

9. Use of tobacco products within the building is prohibited. Smoking will not be permitted within 25 (twenty-five) feet of the building entryways or air intakes. WiiAC296-62-1200(2).

10. The applicant is responsible for enforcement of the above related regulations and shall be responsible for all participants.
