Calculating Number of Lab Hours for Nursing Clinical Courses
To calculate the number of hours for either the Generic/Basic BSN or ABSN clinical lab use, take the number of lab hours shown below for each clinical course,and multiplyby the number of weeks for the termin which the course is taken. Fall and Spring semesters are 15 weeks of lab, and summer is normally 10 weeks for G/B BSN and 15 weeks for ABSN. All labs are odd numbered. Your Degree Progress Report (under Course History), or a University transcript, will state the term in which you completed each clinical course.
