21 Days of Prayer, Fasting and Power!

“The Power of Intention”

“Is this not the fast that I have chosen:

To loose the bonds of wickedness,

To undo the heavy burdens,

To let the oppressed go free,

And that you break every yoke?

Isaiah 58:6 New King James Version (NKJV)

This word of Lord, given through the prophet Isaiah, outlines God’s intention for us when we fast. Four specific outcomes are listed as the objectives for His people. If we go through this period of fasting in the spirit of unity and with intention, we can expect, as a result, to see the manifestation of every one these outcomes! So I say now that in the name of Jesus, we will loose the hold that sin and wickedness has had on our church and our lives, undo the burdens of poverty and lack, be set free from the weight of oppression, depression and apathy, and break the yokes of fear, doubt, complacency, and failure. We will therefore have a release of REVIVAL, both corporately and personally. This will be our intention and our determination. Miracles, signs and wonders will be there result as the Glory of God is revealed!

Please read this consecration guideline thoroughly and refer back to it throughout your fast in order that we might all remain on the same accord. This consecration is NOT OPTIONAL! Every member of CFSMM must participate. The strength is in the unity. It is the place of commanded blessings! May God richly bless you as you undertake this special time of drawing closer to Him!

It has been said “Whenever God intends great blessings for His people, He first sets them to praying and fasting.” It has also been noted that prayer and fasting are two of the most powerful weapons in a Christian’s walk; they have the power to transform nations and to change the course of history! We are embarking upon this season of prayer and fasting precisely because we are ready for such transformation. God sent Pastor Logan to tell us that God said that this is our time of Revival, Renewal, Refreshing and Restoration! It has already begun!

Guidelines

Throughout this consecration, you will be challenged in three areas: Prayer, Fasting and Giving. It’s purpose is the setting aside of what matters to us so we can tap into what matters to God.

“Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Ps. 37:4

.

1.  Prayer -- This will be 21 days of continual, intentional prayer. Each day there will be a specific prayer focus that we all will be addressing during our prayer time. This is to be done whether praying individually or corporately. We will all pray for the same thing each day.

a.  Each member is asked to pray daily. We will be praying three times each day: 6-6:30 am, noon-12:30 pm and 6-6:30 pm. You are asked to join in prayer wherever you are for at least one of these times each day. You are to intentionally schedule your time so as to be a part. There will be Five Prayer Focal Points: one for each day of the week, Mon-Fri. On the weekend, you are free to pray about your individual requests. “The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much!”

Prayer Focal Points

1.  MONDAY- Unity in the Body /Church that there is no division among us. We are coming against the enemy’s attempt to divide and conquer the Church.

2.  TUESDAY- Break the Spirit of apathy (lack of feeling or emotion, indifference, no zeal; loss of interest) we are praying for Consistency, Commitment and Dedication to the work of the Lord. Praying for the Spirit of Excellence in all we do. (Working as unto the Lord)

3.  WEDNESDAY- Finances – Breaking the stronghold of the spirit of poverty and lack that has hindered our Church! No more!!! Pray for the releasing of held up financial blessings over the people of God. We release wealth and prosperity over the house.

4.  THURSDAY- Revival – An abundant harvest of souls that will remain and prosper our church. We declare 500 souls by the end of 2016! Pray that God gives us Strategies to win souls to the kingdom. We are praying that God will send families and young people in who are sold out for the Lord!

5.  FRIDAY- Leadership – Praying for our leadership to line up with the Pastor and his vision for this ministry. We are praying that God will ignite all our leaders, stirring up the gift with in us. That we walk in the Power and the Authority of God.

b.  Congregational Prayer – During the fast, there will be congregational prayer at the church on Tuesdays 6:30-7:30 and Sundays at 9:45. In addition, we will have a corporate prayer line throughout during fast. Information concerning this and other prayer times will be given.

2.  Fasting -- I am asking that everyone unite during these 21 days in the same fast. Our fast will begin at midnight on Sunday Jan. 10, and run through Sunday Jan. 31. We will end with a fellowship dinner.

a.  The “Divine Intervention Fast” -- the total abstinence from food and water (Acts 9: 8, 9; Ezra 10:6; Esther 4; 16). You are to participate in this powerful form of fasting from midnight till 4 p.m. daily. This is basically a one meal per day fast. Remember, it is recommended that one should never go without water for more than about 3 days, and it is highly recommended that you drink as much purified water as possible during the hours between fasting to cleanse your system

3.  Giving – I am asking that each member pray and bring a special BREAKTHROUGH SEED to be planted on the last day of the fast, Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016. Remember, there is three-fold cord of giving, praying, and fasting that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 6 that may well be the key to your hundredfold return in this year! Allow God to challenge you to trust Him in new dimensions in your giving.

4.  I am asking that every member participate in this consecration for the entire 21 days.

5.  I am asking that we cut back on secular television and other secular media (other than Christian music or ministry) during the time of this consecration. The same should apply to frivolous e-mail or web surfing. Our goal is to position ourselves to hear from God by placing Him at the center of our attention.

Anticipated Results

The result and rewards of properly seeking God in fasting and prayer are too numerous to detail here. But allow me to summarize a few:

“If you desire: spiritual strength, answered prayer, divine health, spiritual guidance, wisdom from above, knowledge, understanding, refreshing and restoration, supernatural protection, favor with God and favor with man, fruitfulness in ministry, dying to the self life – Then You Will Pray and Fast! The supernatural flows forth from a lifestyle of prayer and fasting.”

BE INTENTIONAL!!!
