Meeting and Christmas Dinner: Deby Gilley asked for everyone’s attention at 11:15 am

Deby thanked Suzi Agee, Sherry Davis and Patty Rios for all their hard work preparing for the Christmas Dinner.

Deby gave the blessing and Suzi Agee asked for everyone to take a decoration after the dinner, “there should be enough for one for everyone”.

After Dinner announcements:

  1. Joellen is missing a small piece from the last show, a Siamese looking out a window.
  2. Susie Sharpe has a conflict between Nearly Famous Deli and the Fourth-Floor show. Dean Ertel volunteered to be a backup for the fourth floor show.
  3. Meike Aton is not able to hang at Nearly Famous Deli in February and would like to switch with someone but has had no one volunteer at this time.
  4. Donna is feeling a little better. She tires easily and has a long road ahead of her. Donna has 4 kids and 12 grandkids.
  5. Reception volunteers - $80-$90 budget. If showing at JKH then it would be advised to sign up to volunteer to host a reception.
  6. Proceeds from the raffle will be going to Isabelle’s House and Rare Breed again this year
  7. Denise brought the archives for anyone to look at. Nancy Dornan suggested taking the items to MSU for archiving, theywill sort and categorize the items.
  8. Meetings to start at 9:30 am starting in 2017 to give more time to get paintings hung and tags made and be out of the building by 12:00 pm.

Deby Gilley volunteered to step up to be president. Deby stated Donna is “very organized and a hard act to follow” Paula Moore motioned to accept Deby for president, motion seconded with no one opposed and was passed by a majority present.

Treasurer – Alicia Farris made motion to nominate Dora Elliot and Sharon Cates for treasurer, seconded by Suzi Agee and passed by a majority present.
