Rules and Conditions of Entry
1. Rules: The 2017 Pony Club Tetrathlon Rules will apply.
Distances & Height Super Mini Mini Junior
Turning Targets Bean bag throw at 7m, with 2 hands at 7m, with 1 hand
Running 500m 1000m 1500m
Swimming 2 minutes 2 minutes 3 minutes
(Super minis only - armbands or floatation aids allowed)
X-Country Fences: 1’6’’ 2’3” approx. 2’6” approx.
(Super minis only, may be led or assisted – Bonus points for those off the lead rein)
Length of Course: 1500m approx. 1500m approx
Based on a “positive score”: so the better you do in each phase the more you score!
2. Entries: PLEASE NOTE: No e-mail entries or late entries will be accepted.
Entry Fee: Classes 1- 3, £28.00 per competitor. Classes 4- 6, £15 per competitor.
The fee includes £6.00 for specific First Aid attendance.
Non-refundable cheques should be made payable to Sandroyd School Trust Ltd., and sent to Mrs. J. Latham, Sandroyd School, Rushmore Park, Tollard Royal,
Nr. Salisbury, Wiltshire SP5 5QD by close of entries on Wednesday 4th June, or earlier if class is full.
Fence Judge If possible Team Managers to provide a representative from their
Cover: school/pony club to man one fence during the cross country riding phase for the duration of the day.
3. Mixed teams: Can be any combination boy and/or girl.
4. Rosettes: The first 4 teams in each class
The first 6 individuals in each class
The first 3 shoot, swim and run in each class
Clear Round cross-country rosettes
The organiser is happy to forward on any rosettes awarded as long as a stamped addressed envelope is provided.
5. Results: In a team of 4, the best overall 3 scores count!

Queries: Lodged by managers only and within 30 minutes after posting of results and within 10 minutes of final results being posted. PLEASE NOTE: COMPLAINTS TO BE MADE BY TEAM MANAGERS ONLY WITH A £10 CASH DEPOSIT.

7. Guns: All guns are to be kept in a locked car boot other than at the shooting centre at time of shoot.
8. Dogs: Please DO NOT bring dogs onto the Estate
9. Ponies: Sandroyd regrets that it is unable to supply ponies for this event, but limited stabling (some stalls) is available at £20 a night on shavings. Any pony may compete twice with different competitors.
10. Legal liability: Neither the Organisers nor any person acting on their behalf accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, competitors, spectators or any person or property whatsoever.
11. Health & Safety: The Organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable care to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers, all officials and stewards.
12. Hat Tags: All riding hats to be tagged with a white Pony Club tag to comply with the
new 2016 hat rules. Body protectors must be Beta 2009 level 3 (purple) tag. Medical armbands must be worn.
13. Insurance All non Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance
and must have their own third party cover. The Sandroyd School Centre
Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally
responsible
Adventure OUT OF BOUNDS to all competitors and spectators unless supervised by
Playground: an adult. The school accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any injury or damage caused by inappropriate use of the equipment.

This event is run over the whole day and requires a large number of people to run the various sections appropriately. We would be grateful, for Team Managers to possibly provide a representative from their school/pony club to man one fence during the cross country riding phase during the day. It is not possible to stage this event without your help and so the opportunity is taken to THANK YOU in advance of your commitment.
Fence Judges will be fully briefed on the day
