8th Language Arts / Finish taking the Step Up To Writing Quiz as a class. Grade the quizzes at the end. If time permits, continue persuasive writing modes. With final commercial and turn in . / Make up any late work or quizzes as needed.
8thReading / Grade Schoolastic Maps, Charts, and Graphs. Begin 8th Grade reading performance task as a class and discuss. Review figurative language first. / Read AR books at home and make up any late work as needed.
Publications / Start uploading photos and adding them to pages. Cross country can be worked on and completed as soon as photos are uploaded. Make sure we get football video and pictures this Tuesday for sure as well as team pictures. Get Volleyball pictures and video as well on Thursday. / Take pictures and video outside of class as needed.

8th Language Arts / Briefly review Ethos, Pathos, and Logos and how to use them. Begin modeling the persuasive writing process emphasizing counter argument and audience. / Make up any late work or quizzes as needed.
8thReading / Finish up the reading and discussion of the reading performance task. If time permits, students can study for their Reading Application and Definition quiz. If they don’t need to study they can silent read. / Read AR books at home and make up any late work as needed.
