/ / Use the ^ key for exponents. It gives you a nice exponent box in which to put the 3.
/ / After typing the 3 in the exponent box, use the right arrow to get out of the exponent and back to the “main” line of typesetting for the * 10.
Note that the ÷ echoes as /. / Since the answer came to be a decimal, use MATH ENTER ENTER to convert the decimal to fraction. On TI-30 XS, use 2ND FD.
/ / The parentheses keys are above the numbers 8 and 9 on the keyboard. / Since the answer came to be a decimal, use MATH ENTER ENTER to convert the decimal to fraction. On TI-30 XS, use 2ND FD.

/ / Parentheses keys again. If a problem is typeset with square brackets [ ] or curly braces { }, you use the round parentheses on the calculator… / … because the calculator gives square brackets [] and curly braces { } special meanings that could lead to wrong answers for us.
/ / Fractions inside fractions are okay! Like in the numerator box, press the ALPHA Y= again to put a fraction inside a fraction.
/ / Since the answer came to be a decimal, use MATH ENTER ENTER to convert the decimal to fraction. On TI-30 XS, use 2ND FD.
