RULES

Dressage Phase:

Junior Riders U 13 are permitted a caller without a penalty. Elimination from the dressage WILL NOT eliminate the competitor from the Showjumping or the cross country phases. (Unless the rider has fallen or horse is lame)

Showjumping Phase:

Riders compete at their current zone or club grading. Current Cards must be photocopied with entries.

Cross country Phase:

Riders can compete the cross country phase on level below their current Zone 9 Showjumping Grade. If a rider is eliminated at a jump on the cross-country phase they will be allowed to continue riding to the finish (unless the rider has fallen or the horse is lame). If a rider has a fall on the course they must not remount. They must lead the horse back and report to the finish.

Novice entries

Are for riders that will be competing cross country at a grade below their zone/club showjumpinggrade.

Advanced entries

Are for riders that will be competing at the same grade in cross country & showjumping.

STATE ODE NOMINEES: MUST enter and compete in the Dressage, Cross-Country & Showjumping levels they will be undertaking at State ODE.

To be eligible for state entries you must do as per requirements below or equivalent to what is offered above.

SCORING: The competition is scored on a penalty basis. The Penalties incurred for each phase are added together and the competitor with the lowest total penalty score is the winner. The competitors with the lowest six accumulated penalties will receive the 1st to 6th place ribbons (lowest accumulated penalties being awarded 1st place) in each grade. Ribbons will be awarded

for Novice and Advance sections.

PERFORMANCE CARDS to be presented to scorer by Team Manager upon arrival prior to collecting back numbers.

There will be a MOUNTED PRESENTATION at the conclusion of the event – in full uniform. Team Managers, suitably attired are to escort their Club. Participation is compulsory. Clubs will be fined $50 for every rider not taking part in the Mounted Parade without authorization.

The organizing committee, Coffs Harbour Pony Club and the owners of the property on which the fixture is held WILL NOT accept liability for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horse, owners, riders, ground spectators or any other person whatsoever.

The name of the WORKER must be placed on the entry form and if the worker fails to fulfil his/her duty the rider will be scratched. Clubs are responsible to see that their workers are in position or that a substitute is provided.

NO MOLESKINS ALLOWED. Full Pony Club Uniform to be worn. Ties can be removed for Cross-Country Phase.

FULL CANTEEN AVAILABLE BOTH DAYS: NO DOGS ALLOWED ON GROUNDS PLEASE.

Horses are NOT to be tied to horsefloats, they must be in yards or stables whilst not beingled or ridden. Manure bays are provided. All stables must be cleaned out before leaving or clubs will be charged a $10 fee from the caretaker.

THE TECHNICAL DELEGATE MUST BE PRESENT AT THE WALKING OF THE COURSE

(approx 3pm Saturday) AND AT ANY MEETINGS

NB- ALL HORSES/PONIES MUST HAVE A CURRENT HENDRA VACCINATION CERTIFICATE and ALL HORSES WILL BE SCANNED
