Grading System: 1. Three major examseach worth 15% to give a total of 45%

2. Final exam20%

3. Laboratory17%

4. Recitation (weekly quizzes) 8%

5. Homework10%

NOTE: You must achieve a 70% or better in the laboratory in order to pass the course.

If your grade on the Final Exam is higher than your lowest grade on one of the three major exams it will be used to replace the one lowest score. It cannot be used to replace an exam that has been missed.

NOTE: Aug. 29 is the last day to drop with no record and Oct. 31 is the last day to Q-drop
