For each problem draw the diagram to solve it. Do not use any computations to find the answer. Make the diagrams clear, so that your classmates are able to understand them.

- Peggy Sue has a 4-foot long board. She wants to cut it into boards that are each of a foot long. How many boards of that length can she cut from the original board?
- In problem 6, what fraction of one of Peggy Sue’s new board is the leftover piece?
- Carmen picked 2 bushels of coffee beans on Monday and of a bushel on Tuesday. How much had she picked after the two days?
- When Sarah’s family gathered for her fourteenth birthday, eight children, of the people, were less than 14 years of age. How many people were at the celebration?
- Pietro has of a quart of milk. He uses of it for a milk shake. What part of a quart of milk did he use?
- Kuame has 4 cups of flour and each dozen cookies requires of a cup of flour. How many cookies can he make using all of the flour?
