EVENTS RULES AND REGULATIONS

ROBORACE

Description: Race is run to finish. The machines must complete run, tackling of obstacles, avoiding penalties, completing run in minimum time as possible for getting the prize while your robot snatches it for you. The most talented and good controller of robot wins. This race is a tough challenge for the participants and a ton of entertainment for the spectators.

Objective:

  • Dimensions of the Robot: 30cm*30cm*30cm.
  • Max.Power supply specification:24V Current rating 4 amp.
  • Maximum 4 drives are allowed.
  • External battery connections are not allowed. Max. Weight: 2 kg.
  • Max no of participants in the team:5
  • Team members can be of different colleges. Lego (readymade) kits are not allowed.
  • Wire should not disturb the arrangement on track.
  • For each registration the robot should be different.
  • Falling of any part of robot on the track and damage to the track will lead to the immediate disqualification of the robot.
  • Scoring system will be declared on the spot.
  • Decision of judges will be final and binding.
  • Hydraulics and IC engine robots are not allowed. Teams and fees: A team once registered cannot register again ,even with a different name.
  • A team may consist of max. of5 members. All students with a valid ID card of their respective educational institutes are eligible to participate.
  • Teams will be required to show the ID cards of all of its team members during the matches Rules are subjected to change without prior intimation.

BOX CRICKET

/ The teams are expected to bring their proper Cricketing attire including their kits.
/ The tournaments committee reserves the right to change the venue, time and date of the matches if necessary. The team should report 30 minutes before the scheduled matches.
/ If a team reports late, the team will be penalized as per the discretion of the umpire.
/ The rules as adopted shall apply, unless otherwise modified fully/partially and specified.
/ Balls and All other Cricketing Equipment's will be provided by the organizers.
/ Each team will be given 20 minutes to bowl 05 over's and if exceeded will be penalized by the Umpires.
/ Free Hit will be given for every overstepped No-Ball or wide balls will be given 02 runs. Fielding restrictions is not applicable.
/ Decision of the Umpire will be final.
/ The squad should consist of 06 players.
/ The balls will be thrown overhand to the batsmen from half Pitch. The tournament will be played with soft Tennis ball.
/ All the hits outside the Box will be Given Heart Attack 02 Such Heart attacks will be declared out.
/ The tournament will be played on knockout basis.
/ All other details of the activity will be explained on the spot by the activity supervisors.

CERTIFICATION POLICY:

1. Winners will be awarded the certificate of excellence with exciting prizes.

2. All participants will be given participation certificate.

Note:

Reporting for each event will be at 8:30 am sharp on the day of respective event.
