OCTOBER MEETING MINUTES / Summary- The Council on Alcohol and Drugs/Houston expressed an interest in a Partnership Agreement with The Houston EAPA Conference as asponsor in May 2016.
- Jackie St. Germain will coordinate with Tracy Abbott for a speaker, (recommended Brian J. Walker), for 2016
- Speaker/sponsor for November: The Mental Health Association will sponsor and speak in November. The topic is Texas Legislative Update on Mental Health.
- Wendy provided all Board members with a tax exempt form that can be duplicated as needed.
- Update on Google accounts. A Google account per, per Monica, will not be pursued.
- Debit cards. Jackie St. Germain will need to get a debit card. Guidelines for getting a debit card were reviewed (3 Board members and Board minute from September).
- Storage space: Jackie St. Germain reported on her attempt to locate storage space. The goal is to request and receive bids for a 5x5 space. Annetta Vaughn will support Jackie’s effort. Information will be reviewed at the November meeting.
- Leadership session at World Conference: Wendy gave an overview of the concerns addressed.

- Holiday Party
- Harbor Lights choir has been booked for December 8, 2015
- Harbor Lights choir will receive $250.00.
- Five baskets were donated
- $5.00 Starbuck cards will be given away as Holiday gifts
- Carol K will be responsible for purchasing
Philip Cariello
Philip agreed to support Carol by purchasing and transporting the flowers.
- 50 - $10 Starbuck gift cards will be given as a Holiday give away
